BASSLILA PRIVATE LIMITED, trading as Basslila, operates https://basslila.in. We are the data controller for the information described here.

Information you give us. When you fill in a form on this site — a consultation request, a free download, a workshop signup or the contact form — we collect your name, WhatsApp number and, where you provide them, your email address and answers to course questions such as which laptop or software you use and what you want to achieve.

Information collected automatically. Pages you visit, the site that referred you, and general device and browser information. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for this. Clarity also records anonymised session activity — mouse movement, clicks and scrolling — so we can see where the site confuses people. It masks text input by default.

Payment information. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, who are PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only the payment status, amount and a reference ID.

• To reply to your enquiry and send what you asked for.
• To contact you about the course you enquired about, by WhatsApp, phone or email.
• To deliver and support a product you have bought.
• To understand which parts of the site work, so we can improve them.
• To meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Only with service providers who help us run the business, and only with what they need:

• Supabase — the database where enquiries and student records are stored.
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — website usage analytics.
• WhatsApp / Meta — when you choose to message us there.

Enquiries are kept for up to 3 years from your last contact with us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records tied to a purchase are kept for 8 years, as Indian tax and company law requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

• Access or correction — ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to fix it.
• Deletion — ask us to erase your data, except where we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
• Stop contact — tell us to stop and we will. Reply STOP on WhatsApp, or email us.
• Analytics — you can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or use its Do Not Track setting.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and held in access-controlled systems. Only staff who need it can reach student records. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the relevant authority promptly.

Our courses are intended for people aged 16 and over. If you are under 18, please use the site with a parent or guardian's involvement. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change how we use your data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be communicated to students directly.
